the panda, a delicate creature.

At some point in life the world's beauty becomes enough.
You don't need to photograph, paint, or even remember it.
It is enough.

I let my head fall back, and I gazed into the eternal blue sky. It was morning. Some of the sky was yellow, some the safest blue, one small cloud scuttled along. Strange how everything below can be such death and chaos and pain while above the
sky is peace, sweet gentleness.

Composition Exercise

Texture

Texture can be defined as “the feel of an object's surface." This is an example of the way in which we often assume texture is something which must be physically felt in order to understand it. Texture is something which we feel when we interact with our surroundings. But, our understanding of texture is not limited to touch. Texture can be "felt" with our eyes also.

By Esila:

I think that these photos represent Texture because when you look at this wall and the tree, it seems like you can touch them and feel them with your hands.

Photoshop Exercise

Hitler/Hollywood

For this Photoshop exercise I chose to put Adolf Hitler’s picture on the background of Hollywood. To change the background, first I had to create a new layer, and then I made a copy of the background. To outline the silhouette I used the magnetic lasso tool. After outlining it I copied it and pasted into the Hollywood background.
The finished picture looks weird because Hitler is always compared to something negative by people, while everything that’s going on in Hollywood always brings smiles to our faces. There is also no connection between Hitler and Hollywood, considering the fact that Hitler was always busy giving out orders to kill people, while Hollywood is always something positive for everyone.
